Update 3/09: Typo Correction

Head's up-- it's been brought to my attention that I've misspelled one of the words in this puzzle. The affected word appears twice; to fix it, I've remade four of the clues: clues 5, 6, 8, and 9 have been redone.

I'm so sorry for the error-- it should never have snuck this far without being caught!

To make it easier to correct the typo, you can see the pattern for the four affected squares all together here.

Thank you very much to tumblr user Arthro for catching the typo!

This change will not affect the rest of the stitch-a-long.

How to Stitch the Nonograms

Every day from March 1st to 14th, a new nonogram will be released here: there'll be two nonograms released on the first day, and one every day after that. Each nonogram is one part of a larger design; if you stitch them together into a grid, the full piece will be revealed!

Diagram showing a 75 by 75 pattern divided up into fifteen blocks, each 25 by 15 stitches.

There are 15 pieces in the design, each measuring 25 by 15 stitches. If you're someone who likes gridding your projects, it may make sense to mark those dimensions on your fabric.

The finished piece measures 75 by 75 stitches, and should be stitched on 14-count or 28-count fabric (do NOT do 18- or 16- or any other count for this one-- trust me on this! It'll make sense in time!)

On 14- or 28-count (again, the only counts you should use!), the stitched design measures around 5½ inches (~13½ cm) on each side. Including a margin around it, I recommend using a piece of fabric no less than 8 or 9 inches (20-23 cm) across.

The design uses only one color, so make it a fun one! You can pick any thread and any fabric, but colorful ones are recommended. 😉
